IDEAS!
Fancy Dress - Ask your guests to dress up as pirates, a simple stripey T Shirt teamed with frayed denim cut offs works well. You could award a prize for the best outfit, or to the pirate who has kept the house the most "ship shape" - a great way to encourage good behaviour and helpfulness!
Food- Fishy sandwiches (tuna,salmon, prawn), dead man's fingers (sausages), ships biscuits (square crackers), grog (ginger beer). Put little signs on the different foods, funny names on fairly ordinary food can spark the imagination!
Cake- Make a simple sponge cake and decorate with messy blue icing, put an island on it (use a slice of swiss roll or a fairy cake) covered with chocolate icing, top with a plastic pirate toy (Playmobil do some nice ones), embellish further as you feel inspired - palm tree, ship wreck, treasure chest.... |

 Our Packaging:- Packaging is a necessary evil for an internet based business, but we strive to be as eco-friendly as possible with ours. We use recyclable brown cardboard boxes. Craft packs are packed in reusable, resealable poly bags. Delicate items are wrapped in Oxo-Biodegradable bubble wrap. We use proper old fashioned Jiffy Bags that are more expensive than the thin plastic lined ones, but are made from tough 90gsm kraft paper with a 100% recycled paper fibre lining which makes the bag 100% recyclable. Jiffy Bags and boxes are sealed with recyclable silicone free paper parcel tape that has a natural adhesive. Sometimes we reuse packaging that has been sent to us.
