IDEAS!
Fancy Dress - little girls will need no encouragement to dress up as Princesses, and probably have got lots of splendid outfits to choose from. You could award a prize for the best outfit, or better still, to the young lady who has behaved most regally throughout the party - showing attributes like humility, helpfulness and charm (could be a great way to ensure non-diva-like behaviour!)
Food - present the usual party fare as finger food on proper china plates. Maybe cut sandwiches into heart shapes with a biscuit cutter. Think of classic fairytales for your inspiration - jam tarts, honey on toast, shiny red apples. Go for a bit of a banquet look if you can!
Cake - Make a simple sponge cake in a Pyrex bowl so that it is roundish, stick an old Barbie doll (or similar) into the centre (after cooking), cut up an old doll outfit so she has a top, or make her a stylish bustier from tin foil or giftwrap, then decorate the cake with an icing colour of your choice. Go OTT with silver ball decorations, dolly mixtures, jelly sweets to give the Princess a gorgeous ball gown skirt. |

 Our Packaging:- Packaging is a necessary evil for an internet based business, but we strive to be as eco-friendly as possible with ours. We use recyclable brown cardboard boxes. Craft packs are packed in reusable, resealable poly bags. Delicate items are wrapped in Oxo-Biodegradable bubble wrap. We use proper old fashioned Jiffy Bags that are more expensive than the thin plastic lined ones, but are made from tough 90gsm kraft paper with a 100% recycled paper fibre lining which makes the bag 100% recyclable. Jiffy Bags and boxes are sealed with recyclable silicone free paper parcel tape that has a natural adhesive. Sometimes we reuse packaging that has been sent to us.
